D. E. Brown is a born again Christian who has a passion toward fathers and their relationship with their children. It is also vitally important to D. E. Brown that fathers re-establish their position of authority and leadership in the home, and in society. Being a father, is an ordained position which is given by God! The family structure has drastically deteriorated in our society. Society as a whole has gotten comfortable with emasculating men, especially black men. What we need is a realty check. The family unit is out of order. God's order for the family is God, Christ, Man, Woman and Children. Fathers play a more significant role than just paying bills. God designed fathers to be the provider, priest, profit in the home and the protector of the family. As an African American man, it is my deepest heart felt desire to see the black family unit restored to its natural prominence. Many men have been silenced and discouraged from fighting for their Parental rights with in the court system. Our legal system is set up for Mothers to have their way, while the rights of Fathers are pushed aside. The Fatherless Project is a movement which was designed to encourage fathers who have become discouraged.
Proverb: 17:6 reads - "Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers."
Fathers effect every one. This is not an indictment on all mothers. Many of you do encourage the father and child relationship and this I recognize. This is an indictment on the system and the malicious and vindictive mothers who are active participants in this destructive behavior. It's time for change. I hope my experience will create the atmosphere for this change. I would like to thank you for taking the time to log onto my website.
Grace and Peace, D. E. Brown
